Meet the locals! Pelicans who have a great feed twice a day everyday - they are like folks on the dole hanging out at centrelink!! for the freebies!! ( I don't supposed that was a politically correct!!??

These
are Pacific Gulls who are much much bigger then the tiny grey fellas that we normally see - they are second in the food chain of freebies than comes the littlelies!This the view of Venus Bay - it was literally 6 feet away from our caravan! The tide is always low and the beach to lauch one's boat is 3 minutes away hence its a fisher's mecca.
