We zoomed away from Walpole Friday morning and were planning at stopping at Fitzgerald River free camp but we arrived to early!! So we continued on to this site - eeeek! It was okay - just the normal bizillion flies and ants and not much shade. We met an INTERESTING couple.It was quite exciting to be out in the middle of nowhere and having to do nature calls in the bush - Poppy thought it was a real laugh to do number two ..................... where bears do it!
The night was amazing!! The sky was a blaze with a billion stars or more - quite a sight! Poppy spoted her first satelite zooming across - I tried to show them Orion's Belt - huh? who? what? Oh that?! were the replies.
It was quite funny to have dinner in the middle of the 'space' - tried to find a spot with the least ants and the most shade!
The girls & I were very glad to leave the next morning!!
