Well we left beautiful Esperance and zoomed thru Norseman stopped for lunch by the road and zoomed off again ............ finally after 400kms we overnighted at Balladonia CP - for $32 power and hot showers good enough! The next day was another huge day on the road - Gary as you know does not do anything by halves!! so he drove right thru to Eucla ... a mere 510kms!!! It was not as bad as feared as there was a bit of a westerly hence we made it in only 8 hours!!! The girls did a heap of school work at the back - so that was a saving grace!
As you can see there was not much out there to entertain anyone ........................ we tried playing spot the animals??? Only ones we saw were on the yellow notice boards!
A bit of trivia - who knows the meaning of Nullabor?? No, it is not a derivative of an indigenous word but actually from Latin! Null = nothing abor = trees = no trees!! Please remember this when you attend the next Quiz Nite!!
